I just bought a Nikon D80 and I’m going to by a Nikon n65 with a 28-90mm lens what will It equate to on my nikon d80.
Also what is a good portrait and sport lens for both my camera?
Since the 28-90 mm will equate to a 42-135 mm, it will be a fine lens for shooting portraits. For shooting sports, at least field sports, you will want at least a lens that reaches out to 200 mm or even 300 mm. You may find a good used 70-300 mm ED lens will do what you want … sports wise.
The very popular 55-200 mm VR is a good choice for your D80, but is a DX lens so will vignette if used on your N65
